What Do You Do When The World Ends- 1/7/08

A great movie that I hadn’t seen until today is a film called “Last Night”. It’s really amazing to think of what to do when you know for a FACT that the world s gonna end. To call that girl who you thought was the greatest thing God made since toast. You hope with all your might that she picks up the phone and says that she wouldn’t want to see the end of the world with anyone else. I’m pretty sure that I wouldn’t want to see the end of the world in New Jersey for sure. That would not make for a great story with everyone else when we’re in the next world and they ask, “Oh, where were you when the world ended ?” I would probably kick my own ass for having seen the world end there. Besides that, there probably would be people stuck in traffic trying to go somewhere else, trying to go see a loved one. People still getting up to go to their job cause their boss has to be the most incredible PRICK since he said that he would fire you if the end of the world did not happen at midnight. Somewhere in the world, someone will still pass away because they would be in a restaurant eating too fast and choke to death. Some people will die without seeing anything outside of their own town and know that they really got cheated out of their life. Their are so many facets to consider besides the usual wildman scenario. I think the coolest thing will be that those crazy people who always say THE WORLD IS ENDING will finally have to shut up and really do something with their lives. Honestly, the End Of The World would probably be the most underwhelming event in anyone’s lifetime, the craziest thing people can do nowadays is stay alive.
